We had the smashed avocado with feta on toast and the Full English. With the Full English the egg was served on the beans and that I know can be an issue for some but both tasted good and not an issue with me. The avocado was great value unfortunately the Full English came with cold mushrooms (I e. Not reheated enough) and that was a shame as both the bacon and sausages were of good quality. I mentioned this after the meal and had an apology and offer of a discount for compensation. I accepted the apology and decided the discount as it was still great value.
Had a massive craving for chicken souvlaki and clocked some other people eating it as we walked passed. We were served quickly and the food came fast despite it being lunchtime rush just before Christmas. The portion was really generous, the chips were hot and well seasoned with paprika and everything was juicy and flavoursome with crunchy fresh salad and a delicious tzatziki. There were also loads of extra sauces to choose from. The service was friendly and there was a nice atmosphere to the place. I’ll be coming back for the baklava.
Great for a quick lunch. I often get the spanakopita from here, and it's warm and flaky and delicious each time. Personally, I'm not a fan of how small the tables are, and how there's not much room to walk between some of the tables, but it's a minor thing. I should warn that you get a lot of local office employees here on weekdays (the fast service means that a meal here can fit in a short lunch break), so it can get crowded very quickly at peak times.
My friend and I ate breakfast here and had a fabulous experience! You order at the counter and then wait at your table for the food. Portions were generous, the food was fresh, and the avocado was excellent! Very chill little weekday breakfast spot with comfortable seating in the Covered Market.
Very decent prices after the 20% off student discount. Most food I’ve ordered are fantastic, would especially recommend full English breakfast as this is the best full English I’ve ever had since I came to UK. Staff are lovely but sometimes you have to queue up to order
